Regardless of the era, every official Care Bear plush features three signature elements:

Belly Badges: The unique symbol on each bear's stomach (e.g., a raincloud for Grumpy Bear or a sun for Funshine Bear) that represents their personality and "magic power."

Heart Buttons: A small, red plastic heart located on the bear's posterior, usually embossed with the "Care Bears" logo.

Diverse Color Palette: Each character is assigned a specific color to help children identify and associate with different emotions.
